I've never been so nervous about packing then when the time we were headed to the MALDIVES. Sometimes we forget to bring things that are very important in going to this places.

Maldives is an amazing place for honeymoon where you enjoy the crystal blue water. You get there your personal space. I loved that place and would like to go again and again. It is true the water bungalows have spectacle sight and those memorable moments you can create.

 At Maldives you can do lots of things which are:

1. Relax on beech sides:

This beach is quite serene especially with view on the beach side. We had a very calm morning and evenings walks there. This place offers something for almost all kind of people. One can just relax by the beach. You can jog, do some exercises in the swimming area. 

2. Water Sports activities: 

Do you enjoy sun, water and exercise? Then go for these water sports never tried water sports? No problem, instructors can teach you. All resort provides different types of sports Water skiing ,Catamaran Sailing , Canoeing ,Jet Skiing , Water skiing , Tow Sports , Parasailing. All water sports have different price

3. Snorkeling (10:00 -12:00hrs):

Snorkeling trips to nearby reefs are conducted every day by Dhoni .Snorkeling equipment are available on rental basis from water sports center. Water sports center opening hours 09:00-17:00 hrs. The equipment can be brought from the Souvenir shop. Your snorkeling price approx. $35.00 per person and $13.00 to hire Snorkels

                           

4. Explore the resort  with the bicycle that would be most alluring moment:

You can hire bicycle and explore the resort by the bicycle with your soul mate. Definitely you will enjoy. Rent bicycle price approx.8$ 

5. Island hopping (Full day 9:00-17:00/ Half day 14:00-17:00hrs):

On full day trip you will visit a Resort .One fishing village and a picnic island .Where you will have your BBQ lunch. There will be time for snorkeling equipment with you. Half day island hopping consist of visiting a resort and a one fishing village. Please be modesty dressed while visiting local islands. Price for full day excursion $70.00 per person and Half day Exc. $45.00 per person

6. Morning fishing (06:00-09:00hrs) / Night fishing (18:00-20:30hrs) :

Morning and night fishing trips are arranged on daily basis .Fishing hooks and line will be provided by Dhoni captain during the trip. If you wish to have fish BBQ from your catch please identify your fish and make reservations at Sunset Restaurant soon after arrival from fishing. Morning fishing cost approx. $65.00 per person and for Night fishing cost approx. $40.00 per person. ($10.00 per person for preparing fish)

 7. Blue water safari -Deep sea fishing:

Trips are organized on a full day, Morning & Afternoon. Some of the fish you can catch includes: Sailfish, Marlin, Shark, Dorado, and Etc. Cold soft drink will be provided.  Approx. cost $900.00 full day (morning $650.00 & Afternoon $500.00) maximum 4 persons

8. Go for Dolphin sunset on speedboat amazing ride:

Relax and enjoy one hour ride on a dhoni (local motorized Boat) while you watch the beautiful tropical sunset, sipping away your favorite cocktail .Cocktail can be chosen from a selection of cocktail on the Boat. For this ride cost will be approx. $40.00 per person

9. Photo flight by Sea plane (15 minutes)

Photo flight is a 15 min. journey by sea plane you to take photographs of Beautiful Island & Coral Reefs. A speed boat transfer is arranged from Resort to Airport and return, where the Seaplane flight will take place. Cost for this approx. $132.00 per adult & for child $127.00

Visit the capital of Maldives .Hotel Representative will assist you in site seeing, shopping .etc.

It will be convenient for you to following these do’s and don’ts before embarking on your trip to the Sunny side of life in Maldives.

Do's:

•   Stay in the nicest resort you can afford, it's a once in a lifetime vacation, so don't waste it
•  Do watch traditional and cultural dance shows.
•  Do visit the local market and the fish market in the morning to experience the daily life of the  local
•  Enjoy the sand, sun and water.
•  Do dress properly when visiting a Mosque or religious site.
•  Do respect the Muslim customs, especially during Ramadan.
•        Please be modestly dressed while visiting local islands.

Don'ts:

•   Don't carry alcohol from airport. all resort hotels have bars.
•  Do not bring religious materials that is offensive to Islam.
•  Law prohibits collecting live corals and shells
•  During snorkeling please be careful not break any coral which would damage the beauty of  the water world.
•  Don't go to a local island in short shorts. and tank tops, respect their cultures and dress a bit c  conservatively.
•   If you're not a good swimmer don't go inside the deep water.
•  Don’t get involved in possession or consumption of narcotic drugs.
•  Don’t smoke or consume food during the holy month of Ramadan during day time in Male City.

           

Best Place for Honeymoon - Maldives

This is going to be my first blog. Firstly i would like to share my experience about Maldives trip. We scheduled to take international flight from Delhi airport for international travel, you have to be reached at the airport at least 3 hours before flight departure .Male International Airport is the main airport, which connect Maldives to all countries. There are also direct flights from Dubai and other major countries. As compared to other countries, Maldives offers a free 30-day visa on arrival to everyone, which can be extended to a period of 90 days.


After reaching at Airport, you will get exotic transfer option for your resort .Because of Maldives geographical situation you need to fly or speed boat .One is seaplane another is Speedboat. All seaplane transfer are made during daylight hours (6 am to 5 pm), and offers an amazing perspective on the island and you can also see the mesmerizing view. Some resorts can only reached by speed Boat. According your resort location, your speed boat transfer from the airport will take 10 and 50 minutes. No matter at what time your international flight will land in Male your speed boat will be transferred to your final destination Speed boats operate 24 hrs. A day. The speed boat jetty at the airport is only 2 min walk from your arrival terminal.
